Create your Secure Passwords account

You create your account once, then sign in with the same credentials in the web vault, the browser extension, and (once they're available) the mobile apps.

1. Go to app.securepasswords.com and select Start free (or Create a new account on the sign-in page).
2. Enter your full name and email address, accept the Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Policy, and select Next. There's no username at this step.
3. Create your master password (see the next article) and confirm it. The strength meter must show at least Fair.
4. Select Create account. You'll see Check your email, and we email you a verification link.
5. Select Verify email in that email (the link expires in 24 hours), then sign in. On your first sign-in you can choose a username, or select Skip for now and choose one later in Settings, then Accounts.
