Your Getting started checklist

A short checklist walks you through the first things worth doing: add your first item, import passwords, add the extension, and set up two-factor.
After you sign in, the Getting started checklist on your home page helps you set things up (Getting started in the side menu shows your progress). Its four steps are:
- Add your first vault item, such as a password or a note.
- Import existing passwords from your browser or another password manager (you can skip this one).
- Install the Secure Passwords browser extension.
- Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA) with an authenticator app.
Tip
The mobile apps are coming soon. Once they're out, installing one becomes a step too.
Tip
Below the steps, Additional features suggests optional extras, such as a secure note, a folder, a passkey and a recovery key. You can revisit the checklist any time from Settings, then Help, then Show getting started.
