Delete your account

Permanently delete your account after a 30-day grace period, with a confirmation phrase.

  1. Open Settings, then Accounts, and the Account management section.
  2. Select Delete account, read the warning, and select Continue.
  3. Confirm your identity, then type the exact phrase DELETE MY ACCOUNT and select Continue.
  4. On the Last chance screen, select Delete my account.

Tip

Deletion has a 30-day grace period. You're signed out everywhere right away, but you can sign in and select Cancel account deletion during that window. After it, your vault and account data are permanently removed.

Important

Export a backup first if there's any chance you'll want your data — after the grace period this can't be undone.
