Autofill a login in your browser

An autofill icon appears in login fields — click it to fill, or pick from matches when there's more than one.
On a sign-in page, Secure Passwords adds a small autofill icon inside the password field (tooltip: “Autofill with Secure Passwords”).
- Make sure the extension is unlocked (select the toolbar icon and unlock if needed).
- Select the autofill icon in the field to see logins that match the site. (The number on the toolbar icon shows how many saved logins match the current site.)
- Choose the login you want and the fields fill.
Tip
When exactly one saved login matches and the page is secure (HTTPS), it fills as soon as you select the icon. If several match — or the page is HTTP — you'll see a picker, and HTTP pages show the warning “This page isn't secure (HTTP).”
Important
There is no keyboard shortcut for autofill. Use the in-field icon.
