Generate a password in the extension

The Generator tab makes strong random passwords with adjustable length and character sets.

  1. Open the extension and select the Generator tab (“Password generator”).
  2. Set the length with the slider (6–32; default 16).
  3. Toggle character sets: Uppercase (A-Z), Lowercase (a-z), Numbers (0-9), and Symbols (default off).
  4. Select Refresh for a new password, then Copy.

Tip

The strength label reads Very weak, Weak, Fair, Strong, or Very strong. The extension generator makes random-character passwords; the web vault (and the mobile app, coming soon) also offers Memorable password and PIN types.
